Editorial Standards & Review Board
How our CFA and CPA content is researched, reviewed, and kept accurate.
Why this page exists
CFA and CPA preparation is a high-stakes financial decision. We hold our content to the standards Google calls E-E-A-T — Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness — and we explain exactly how we meet them below.
Our review process
- Sourcing. Exam-format and curriculum claims are checked against the current official CFA Institute and AICPA materials, not secondhand summaries.
- Credentialed review. Topic explanations and course comparisons are reviewed by holders of the relevant credential before publication.
- Dating. Every article carries a publish date and is revisited each exam cycle, since syllabi and pass thresholds change.
- Corrections. Found an error? Email editorial@sophosacademy.org. We correct verified errors promptly and note material changes.
Independence & affiliate disclosure
Some links to prep courses are affiliate links — if you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never determine our rankings. Rankings are driven by topic coverage, Q-bank quality, and value, and we only recommend courses we would use ourselves. We are not affiliated with CFA Institute or AICPA.
