Information We Collect

Account information: If you sign in with Google or provide your email address, we store your email address and (if provided by Google) your name and profile picture.

Practice session data:Anonymous users: Q-bank progress stored in your browser's localStorage only — nothing sent to our servers. Signed-in users: topic scores and session history stored in our database to enable cross-device sync and recommendations.

Analytics: We use Microsoft Clarity (session recordings and heatmaps) and Google Search Console (aggregate search traffic data). Neither service requires cookie consent under current regulations for the data we collect.

How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Save your Q-bank progress and generate course recommendations
• Send transactional emails (magic link auth, purchase receipts)
• Send the weekly newsletter (only if you explicitly subscribed)

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), and LemonSqueezy (payment processing). Purchase data is handled by LemonSqueezy as Merchant of Record. We do not store payment card information.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing contact@sophosacademy.org. Newsletter unsubscribe links are included in every email.
